Who I am
My name is Kristofer Sommestad, from Stockholm, Sweden. I’m a client- & server-side developer as well as client architect, employed by Swedish game developers Jadestone since late 2000 (part-time employment during my education up until 2003).
What I do
I do most of my daily development within “AJAX”, ActionScript and Java. In the role as a client architect, I spend time delving into areas such as client architecture, performance, productivity and research in new technologies.

Why I’m here
I’ve often come across myself browsing the web for solutions on day-to-day issues as well as other research within web devlopment. Therefore, I’m setting up this little blog as a way to share my knowledge and findings in the world of web client development. The purpose isn’t to get 10,000 daily readers, but merely to make the knowledge available for others Googling to get help with their problems.
What you’ll get
Most of the posts will be based on my ideas and reflections on technologies, articles or such. I will not argue that I’m always right, nor that what I state in a post is my final saying on the matter. I’m all open for discussion and new ideas, please don’t hesitate to drop a comment or two, should you feel like it!
By the way, the posts on this blog will all be related to my work, so you won’t have to care about what I did last Saturday (unless it was work, of course!) or whatever…
* I apologize in advance for any Swede-ified English language…
